The Crystal Apple Award is a special way for high school students at Aliso Niguel, Laguna Beach, Laguna Hills and Dana Hills to recognize and thank the teachers or coaches who have had a positive impact on their life. Two teachers from each high school will be awarded the Crystal Apple this year. As a community we are grateful to these extraordinary teachers who go above and beyond. Nominations are happening now and due by April 1st!
We will award this year’s teachers at our in person Crystal Apple Awards Ceremony at 7PM on Sunday, May 1st, 2022. The awards will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 22851 Aliso Creek Road in Aliso Viejo.
This year the Crystal Apple Awards will be hosted by NBC4 Los Angeles News Anchor Chuck Henry! The program will include musical numbers from students at our local high schools, the presentation of the award to each teacher by the student who nominated them, followed by Handel’s ice cream. The entire community is invited to this free event, including students, teachers, civic leaders, school administration, and families. We hope to see you there!
