We could not be more excited for the next discussion on September 19th at 7:00 pm.  Richard Bushman, emeritus professor of history at Columbia University and author of Joseph Smith: Rough Stone Rolling, will speak to our stake on the topic “Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration” (see YouTube and Zoom links below).  Brother Bushman will address the Kirtland period we are currently studying in Come, Follow Me, and then he will respond to questions.

Please email your questions to LagunaNiguelStake@gmail.com by September 12. You might ask about Joseph’s life experiences, the coming forth of the Book of Mormon, more challenging episodes like plural marriage, or anything else.  We will gather and organize the questions, and President Evanson will pose the questions to Brother Bushman during the fireside.  For those who view on Zoom, you will also be able to ask follow-up questions.
