Our country has observed a National Day of Prayer since 1952. The theme for 2021 is Love, Life and Liberty and is taken from 2 Corinthians 3:17. The Laguna Beach Interfaith Council has historically held it’s annual Prayer Breakfast to mark this special occasion. This year however, the event will be a virtual one. Local Faith Leaders will be coming together to commemorate this Day of Prayer by uniting in expressing messages of Love, Life and Liberty.

Quoting Bishop Andy Hanson of the Laguna Beach Ward Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints “ During this pandemic, we have been strengthened by the words of ancient prophets, ‘ Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.’ (Joshua 1:9)
