Happy New Year!  We hope you had a peaceful holiday season, full of time with family and friends, as we celebrated the Savior’s birth and the beginning of a new year.  We enter 2021 with great hope and optimism.

We have been given the assignment from the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles to hold stake conference on Sunday, January 17, 2021.  Like the stake broadcast this past October, the general session of the conference will be hosted live at 10:00 am PT on the stake YouTube channel (a link to the broadcast will be circulated in advance).  It will feature messages from members throughout the stake, along with beautiful and uplifting musical numbers.  We are confident that the conference will strengthen the faith of all who watch it.  There will also be an in-person leadership meeting (outdoors) at 1:00 pm PT at the Alicia Building for members of the stake council and each ward council.

In preparation for the general session, we invite every individual and family to study and ponder President Russell M. Nelson’s talk from October general conference entitled Let God Prevail.  We hope that you will watch the stake conference broadcast prayerfully, with a desire to know how you can become more willing to let God prevail in your life.
